Details
This year, Infinix has been expanding its business and focusing on the mid-range segment. Today, the company launched the Infinix Smart 6, a new smartphone in its “Smart-series.” However, the device is currently only available in a few markets. The new Smart 6 features a dual-camera setup on the back with Android 11 Go Edition.
The Infinix Smart 6 has a single storage option: 32 GB of internal storage. This amount can always be increased with a micro SD card slot. The device has 2 GB of RAM, which isn’t much, but keep in mind that Android 11 Go uses resources wisely, so the experience should be smooth. The device uses the Unisoc SC9863A chipset for performance.
The Infinix Smart 6 is equipped with a 6.6-inch HD+ display. It also has a waterdrop notch display at the top for the selfie camera. The phone’s display has a maximum brightness of 500 nits, which isn’t particularly high. However, when you consider that this is a low-end smartphone, it’s a lot.
On the back of the phone, there are two cameras. The primary camera has an 8 MP sensor and is paired with a secondary 0.8 MP snapper. To be honest, this secondary camera is only here to make numbers because its use and capabilities, even for depth sensing, are quite limited. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back panel. It has a 5 MP front-facing camera sensor for selfies and AI Face Unlock.
